Heather Perry has joined ASF as a Biologist in the Research and Environment Department. Heather started on June 21, 2021 and will be based at our Chamcook Headquarters, beginning July 5. Many of you may remember Heather pictured on the cover of the Autumn 2018 issue of the Atlantic Salmon Journal. She worked as a summer student with our research department surveying for Atlantic salmon post-smolt in the Strait of Belle Isle and was involved with multiple projects.

Heather completed her B.Sc. in Marine Biology with Co-op Honours at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS in 2019. Her thesis research involved examining trade-offs between alternative reproductive strategies in male Atlantic salmon.

ASF is delighted to have Heather Perry on staff.
