Video of Atlantic Salmon with Satellite Tags

Follow two wild Atlantic salmon kelts as they leave the Restigouche River and return to the ocean to attempt a second migration to Greenland. These salmon had "pop-off" tags attached that after a defined length of time, or in the event of a salmon death, drift to the surface and transmit data from the migration path, including temperature and depth, helping ASF researchers to better understand the behaviour of the Atlantic salmon at sea.
