Research in this area is necessary to better understand the relationship between acclimation temperature, physiological processes (i.e. metabolic disturbances) and behavior. In addition, this study will coincide with current research on acute temperature effects taking place at UNBSJ by Dr. Jim Kieffer. Data from both studies will give a detailed picture of temperature effects on recovery from exhaustive exercise in Atlantic salmon.
