Education

The Atlantic Salmon Federation is strongly committed to sharing knowledge with both adults and children about the wild Atlantic salmon.

The ATLANTIC SALMON JOURNAL is the single most important magazine about the wild Atlantic salmon and the issues surrounding it - plus the human culture and heritage related to it.

ASF FISH FRIENDS is a classroom program, used in 600 schools from Connecticut to Labrador that encourages stewardship of watersheds. Teachers and children both love the program for its hands-on approach, as well as its flexibility and classroom-tested curriculum guide. Designed for grades 4 to 6, it has also been used in some higher grade levels of middle schools.

ASF MAGIC ON THE RIVERS is a program designed for teens and adults that covers the details, river etiquette, and ethics for the 21st century angler. It has been used by youth groups, schools, first nations education programs and interpretive centres.
